Position Summary

The Veterinary Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for our clients and patients. This role is essential in creating a welcoming, organized, and compassionate experience while helping maintain smooth daily hospital operations.

This position requires strong communication skills, adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and kind in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Greeting clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Answering phones and managing client communication
  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating daily workflow
  • Checking patients in and out
  • Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
  • Communicating clearly with doctors and support staff
  • Assisting clients with questions, prescriptions, and follow-up care
  • Managing electronic medical records, appointment scheduling systems, and digital client communication efficiently and accurately
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of reception areas
  • Supporting teammates and helping where needed throughout the hospital
  • Helping create a positive and collaborative work environment
