All Pets Veterinary Hospital in Nashua, NH, is seeking an experienced veterinary receptionist who values people and their pets. We are a busy, friendly, well-organized practice that treats staff and clients like family and rewards dedication with growth opportunities.

You will greet clients and patients by name, triage concerns, answer calls and messages, provide emotional support, and help maintain a smooth, fear-free visit experience. Excellent communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of veterinary industry experience required.
• Compassionate, calm, team player, multi-tasker, and strong communicator.
• Highly organized and possesses computer skills.
• Excellent reading/comprehension/legible writing skills.
• Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome clients and patients personally by name, answer their questions, and triage concerns.
• Observe signs of fear, anxiety, and stress in animal patients and offer solutions to promote a fear-free experience.
• Answer incoming calls, emails, and text messages with solutions to client’s questions and concerns about their pet(s).
• Recognize and triage medical concerns so urgent needs are addressed in a timely manner.
• Offer clients compassionate emotional support during times of need; must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.
• Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
