Job summary

Regency Village at Bend is seeking a compassionate receptionist to support residents and staff. You will be the first line of contact, handling health screening and directing visitors to the correct offices while maintaining strict confidentiality and promoting resident dignity.

The role involves greeting guests, answering phones, providing clerical support, monitoring access, and ensuring doors are secured in the evening, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for our elderly

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for greeting visitors and answering phones.
• Willingness to provide clerical support and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to stand and perform light lifting up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

We are Regency Village at Bend, centrally located in beautiful Bend, OR. We are a retirement and assisted living community providing each individual compassionate care in a nurturing environment. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team.

As a receptionist, you will expedite the care and connection of our residents and staff. You will be the first line of defense providing health screening to individuals ensuring they enter only for necessary reasons.

You will:

• Greet visitors and direct individuals to the appropriate office, resident room, or area
• Answer the telephone promptly and direct calls appropriately
• Provide clerical support to all departments including email response to inquiries.
• Monitoring visitors access.
• Maintain strict confidentiality with personnel, residents, and management issues
• Respects resident dignity and promotes resident rights.
• Securing the doors in the evening and walking the grounds.

You Currently:

• Able to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with others
• Possess an interest in working with the elderly population
• Read, write, speak and understand English
• Able to stand, lift (up to 30 pounds unassisted), bend, stoop, push, pull, and twist
