Job summary

Regency Care of Central Oregon is seeking a Housekeeper-Laundry Aide in Bend, OR to maintain residents' rooms and common areas. The role follows cleaning schedules, collaborates with nursing, and adheres to sanitary rules to ensure a safe, clean environment.

You will perform laundry and housekeeping tasks, assist residents, and support a home-like atmosphere that respects dignity and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, and carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts to supply storage areas, keeping each tidy.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and empty wastebaskets to meet health standards
• Disinfect equipment and surfaces using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.

We are Regency Care of Central Oregon, a skilled nursing community centrally located in beautiful Bend, OR. We are looking for caring & compassionate individuals to join our team.

As a Housekeeper-Laundry Aide, you maintain residents' rooms and common areas. You follow cleaning schedules, coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services, and adhere to sanitary/safety rules and regulations.

You Will:

• Wash, dry, and carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts to supply storage areas, keeping each tidy.
