Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Wendell, NC, seeks a Receiving Team Lead to manage all aspects of incoming material, inventory control, and Lean practices. The role includes safeguarding accurate receipts, auditing shipments, and coordinating put-away activities.

You will operate forklifts and RF devices, verify deliveries against records, and contribute to 5S/8 Wastes efforts while training new staff and ensuring safe, efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in receiving in a manufacturing setting.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with forklifts (reach, sit-down, cherry picker).
• Proficient in SAP ERP system and RF devices.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead receiving operations and ensure accurate receipt of materials and inventory.
• Audit, replenishment, put-away and record-keeping of incoming items.
• Operate stand-up reach truck, stand-up order picker, and sit-down forklift.
• Maintain 5S+, 8 wastes mitigation and Lean practices in the area.
• Train new employees and coordinate SAP system access as needed.
