Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Northlake, TX is seeking a Receiving Supervisor for Distribution Center, 1st shift, onsite. You will lead safety initiatives, develop SOPs, and manage staffing to achieve department goals.

The role requires 3–5 years in warehouse/distribution with 1–2 years of leadership, proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with SAP/WMS. Strong communication and integrity are essential for success in this team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting.
• Minimum 1–2 years’ leadership experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with inventory or warehouse software, databases, and other systems including SAP and WMS, preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, across all levels of the organization.
• High degree of credibility and integrity.

Responsabilités

• Ensure safety of employees via active safety culture management and policy enforcement.
• Develops and maintains standard operating procedures for all areas of responsibility.
• Maintain a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the department’s mission effectively.
• Plans and coordinates work by performing time studies, cost analysis, or other means.
• Ensure associates meet standards for quality, productivity, housekeeping & safety.
• Ensure safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Monitor and document department performance for cost, labor, and productivity.
• Cross-trains associates and enforces company policies.
• Partner with HR on interviewing, policy administration, performance, and coaching.
