Job summary

Ocean Cold LLC is seeking a Receiving Associate to inspect inventory on arrival, verify labels, and ensure accurate product documentation in a cold-storage warehouse. You will work with the Datex Footprint WMS on desktop and rugged devices, maintain accurate cycle counts, and assist with labeling and restacking orders.

Expect shifts aligned with peak seasons, with responsibilities including safety checks, proper documentation, and adherence to GMPs and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Proficient in basic math.
• Must have basic computer skills (Windows).
• Must be able to lift 50 lb.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to communicate in basic English.

Responsibilities

• Physically inspect incoming and outgoing product to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
• Verify label information
• Document Temperature
• Verify case count
• Check for tampering or abuse
• Physically inspect inbound/outbound load containers to ensure product is received and released in safe sanitary conditions
• Work with Datex Footprint (WMS) to accurately record and receive product into the warehouse; Complete and file all required quality and warehouse documentation
• Assist other crews when necessary
• Maintain an organized and tidy work area
• Comply with all company food safety standards and GMPs
