Job summary

La Bodega is seeking a Receiver to support the Receiving Department by ensuring safe, timely, and accurate receipt of produce and other items. You will verify quality, document discrepancies, and maintain a clean receiving area to support warehouse operations.

You will move freight from trailers into staging, scan barcodes with RF devices, and place shipments into proper coolers or storage locations, while upholding food safety standards and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience preferred.
• Electric pallet jack experience.
• RF scanner gun experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move freight from trailers into staging lanes.
• Break down multi-SKU pallets into single-SKU pallets.
• Use an RF gun to scan all barcodes for received items.
• Ensure product integrity and no damage during put away.
• Place shipments in the designated cooler or storage locations.
• Follow all food safety policies and procedures.
• Receive incoming shipments and print shipping labels.
• Notify QC manager of quality or quantity issues.
