Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to efficiently load/unload shipments, prepare merchandise, and support store operations. You will follow SOPs, use scan guns and computer systems, and help maintain accurate inventory and displays across the sales floor and warehouse.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to work with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Proven track record of consistently producing error-free work and meeting quality standards.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise, set up displays, stock shelves, and manage inventory.
• Follow SOPs for receiving and processing apparel, and ensure accurate merchandising and stock levels.
• Process purchase orders using SOPs and verify receipts with scan guns.
• Monitor shortages and discrepancies daily; communicate issues.
• Maintain receiving paperwork records and support DC transfers and price tagging.
• Assist inventory management and participate in cross-training across departments.
• Provide friendly, proactive support to customers and colleagues.
