Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to support accurate receiving, inventory control, freight processing, and merchandise movement throughout the store. You will receive shipments, verify inventory, and replenish merchandise on the sales floor.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of related experience, are detail‑oriented, able to use scan guns and computer systems, and work well in a fast‑paced store environment. This role offers opportunities for growth within Rural King.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of receiving, warehouse, inventory, freight, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with purchase orders, inventory control, or shipping and receiving preferred.
• Comfortable using computers, scan guns, and inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and process purchase orders according to SOPs.
• Use scan guns and computer systems to document receipts and inventory.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies (PO, DC, vendor).
• Maintain receiving records and research negative on-hand inventory.
