Job summary

States Manufacturing LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Receiving Specialist to ensure accurate receipt, inspection, documentation, and tracking of incoming inventory, while maintaining inventory accuracy across our ERP/WMS systems.

You will record transactions, label and store materials, and coordinate with Purchasing, Quality, and Logistics to resolve discrepancies, uphold safety and regulatory standards, and support audits in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
• Experience using ERP, WMS, or inventory management software.
• Experience with barcode scanning systems and RF technology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Receiving Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, inspection, documentation, and tracking of incoming inventory while maintaining inventory accuracy across warehouse and inventory management systems. This role combines hands-on receiving functions with analytical inventory control responsibilities to support efficient operations, minimize discrepancies, and optimize inventory performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentation.
• Ensure all received products meet quality and quantity requirements.
• Accurately record receipt transactions in the ERP (Epicor)
• Label, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.

Physical Requirements
