Reporting to the Receiving Manager, you will oversee daily receiving activities, ensure accurate put-away, coordinate with inventory staff, and drive safety and productivity in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, training of crew, adherence to policies, and effective communication across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in industrial warehousing/distribution operations.
• Effective communication up, down and across the organization.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Ability to use NEFCO’s ERP software system and warehouse layouts for planning.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation; materials stored and slotted efficiently.
• Oversee daily routines of assigned crew members.
• Assist in developing receiving skills of crew.
• Coordinate with Inbound/Inventory Manager to control inventory and reduce errors.
• Ensure inbound shipments are processed for delivery or storage.
• Maintain a motivating environment with high performance standards.
• Communicate policies and administer corrective action as necessary.
• Foster teamwork to achieve operational goals.
• Support company projects related to area of responsibility.
• Coordinate with distribution center staff to keep warehouse clean and organized.
• Complete NEFCO trainings and enforce training initiatives.
• Assist in implementing new training and enhancing existing processes.
• Ensure safe work practices and a safe environment.
