Job summary

Natural Grocers is seeking a Receiving Manager to oversee the receiving department, train staff, and ensure accurate product intake and records. You will work with SAP and inventory systems, manage POs/RPOs, and coordinate with other store managers for cross-training.

The role includes opening/closing duties and cashier responsibilities as needed. The position requires 1–2 years in retail grocery, forklift certification, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 1–2 years retail experience in grocery/retail environment; natural foods background a plus.
• 1–2 years supervising others preferred.
• 1–2 years receiving experience preferred.
• Forklift certification ability is required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Provide World Class Customer Service as a top priority.
• Exemplify integrity, responsibility, excellence and adhere to policies.
• Receive all incoming products with date, accuracy and damage checks.
• Scan all incoming and outgoing product and maintain accurate records.
• Stage products for efficient delivery to the sales floor.
• Process POs, RPOs, mispicks, invoices and paperwork timely.
• Research discrepancies and communicate issues with managers.
• Cross-train staff and assist in interviewing and hiring.
• Open/close store and manage cash processes and register functions.
• Maintain safety and security for customers and employees.
