Natural Grocers is seeking a Produce Manager to oversee the produce department, lead staff, and ensure profitability and compliance with health standards. The role includes inventory management, vendor coordination, and delivering World Class Customer Service.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, and supervising staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and daily operations such as opening/closing the store and handling cash and customer inquiries.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service excellence.
• Experience supervising staff in a grocery/retail setting is preferred.
• Ability to pass food safety training/certifications as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service and ensure department is inviting, full and shopable.
• Order produce, manage inventory, and maintain accurate margins and shrink.
• Train and monitor produce staff; cross-train with other departments.
• Open/close store and manage register operations, returns, and shifts.
