Job summary

Fleet Farm in Lake Lawn, Wisconsin, seeks a Receiving Lead to manage inbound freight and oversee all receiving operations. You will ensure accurate intake and prep for stocking by the Logistics Team, acting as the subject matter expert for receiving processes.

You will train and coach the receiving team, plan daily activities, and coordinate with Inventory Control, Yard, and Logistics to maintain inventory integrity and support vendor returns.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Forklift certification required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 2 years of retail, logistics, or warehouse supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build teammate relationships in a fast-paced environment.
• Direct and motivate a diverse population including full-time and part-time Team Members.
• Decisive, implement solutions, multi-task, and adapt in a quickly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurately receiving all inbound freight to ensure it is available for stocking by the Logistics Team.
• Act as the main point of contact for inbound and outbound freight.
• Oversee organizational integrity of the receiving area.
• Train & coach team on receiving processes; plan and prioritize daily activities and assign roles.
• Assist in Return to Vendor/Return Processing.
• Provide input to Logistics Manager to evaluate team performance.
• Assist Logistics and Yard Teams with business needs.
• Work with Inventory Control Team to investigate inventory inaccuracies related to receipts.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty program, credit card, and company initiatives.
