Job summary

Rural King Farm and Home Store in Niles, MI is seeking a Receiving Lead to oversee the accurate receipt of freight, coordinate unloading, and maintain documentation. You will lead the receiving team, inspect goods for damages, and ensure proper labeling and flow from truck to shelf.

Qualifications

• Experience with freight receipt and warehouse flow is preferred.
• Ability to operate standard retail equipment safely.
• Attention to detail in inventory and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the receiving team to unload, sort, and process incoming freight safely and efficiently.
• Inspect goods for damage and labeling accuracy; coordinate with partners on issues.
• Maintain inventory records and update systems regularly.
• Perform daily reviews of negative inventory and identify root causes.
• Coordinate store transfers and backhaul requests; ensure proper pallet wrapping and loading.
