Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Lead to oversee the efficient receipt of freight and ensure safe unloading from delivery trucks. You will manage the receiving process, maintain documentation, and keep merchandise moving from truck to shelf with precision.

In this role you will lead the receiving team, inspect shipments for damage and labeling accuracy, maintain inventory records, and collaborate with purchasing and logistics to prevent disruptions while upholding company safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the receiving team to ensure timely unloading, sorting, and processing of incoming freight.
• Inspect incoming merchandise for damages, discrepancies, and proper labeling; coordinate with partners to address issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update the system to reflect received goods.
• Perform daily analysis of negative inventory and propose solutions.
• Coordinate with purchasing and logistics to ensure smooth receiving flow and resolve issues.
