Job summary

Rural King invites applications for a Receiving Lead position to oversee receipt of freight, coordinate unloading from delivery trucks, and maintain documentation of received goods. Candidates should be able to operate forklift and assist with store transfers, while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and up to 31–50 lbs intermittently.
Able to maintain seated or standing position for extended durations.
Able to navigate and access all facilities.
Strong verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the receiving team to ensure timely unloading and processing of freight according to company guidelines and safety protocols.
Inspect incoming merchandise for damages, discrepancies and proper labeling; coordinate with partners to resolve issues.
Maintain accurate inventory records and update the system regularly.
Analyze negative inventory and identify root causes for corrective actions.
Coordinate with purchasing and logistics to ensure smooth flow of goods and prevent disruptions.
Operate warehouse equipment and maintain cleanliness of the receiving area.
