Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in inventory control, warehouse operations, receiving, or materials management in manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience using inventory management systems and ERP software; QuickBooks preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training preferred.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily receiving operations including unloading, inspection, documentation, labeling, storage, and movement of materials.
• Ensure inbound deliveries are received, verified against purchase orders, and entered into inventory systems promptly.
• Develop, implement, and enforce SOPs for receiving, material handling, storage, and inventory control.
• Partner with Inventory Control, Purchasing, Production, and Shipping to ensure material availability and accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and material flow to support production schedules.
• Investigate discrepancies and root causes; maintain organized warehouse.
• Lead and develop receiving personnel through training and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and company policies.
