Job summary

ASC in Virginia Beach is seeking a Receiving Clerk to ensure accurate receiving, inspection, and documentation of incoming materials. You will verify shipment contents, record into ERP, and maintain inventory accuracy to support uninterrupted production.

You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Warehouse teams, address discrepancies, and uphold safety and quality standards. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required, with ERP and barcode experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, or inventory control preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
• Experience with ERP systems and barcode scanning preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect materials for damage, discrepancies, or shortages and report issues.
• Record received materials into inventory systems ensuring accuracy.
• Coordinate storage, identification, and handling with warehouse staff.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation.
• Support cycle counts and inventory audits as required.
• Operate barcode scanners and inventory tracking systems.
• Maintain safe, organized receiving areas and follow PPE protocols.
• Assist with material movement and warehouse operations as needed.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure materials flow.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of warehouse efficiency.
