Job summary

Acoustical Sheetmetal Company LLC is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to lead and coordinate all receiving operations across ASC facilities in Virginia. You will ensure inbound materials are received, inspected, documented, labeled, stored, and distributed to support production goals, partnering with Purchasing, Inventory Control, Production and Shipping teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in inventory control or materials management in manufacturing, with at least 2 years of leadership,

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in inventory control, warehouse operations, receiving, or materials management in manufacturing.
Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, warehouse operations, and material flow.
Experience with ERP systems and Excel; QuickBooks preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily receiving operations, including unloading, inspection, documentation, labeling, storage, and movement of materials.
Ensure inbound deliveries are accurately received, verified against POs, and entered into inventory systems promptly.
Develop, implement, and enforce SOPs for receiving, material handling, storage, and inventory control.
Collaborate with Inventory Control, Purchasing, Production, and Shipping to ensure material availability and accuracy.
Monitor inventory levels and material flow to support production schedules.
Investigate discrepancies and shortages using root cause analysis.
