Job summary

Acoustical Sheetmetal Company LLC in Virginia Beach is seeking a Customer Equipment Supervisor to lead and coordinate receiving operations, ensuring accurate inspection, labeling, and inventory entry to support production.

You will partner with Purchasing, Inventory Control, Production, and Shipping to improve material flow, maintain accuracy, and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, receiving, or materials management within a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, warehouse operations, and material flow processes.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily receiving operations, including unloading, inspection, documentation, labeling, storage, and movement of materials.
Ensure inbound deliveries are accurately received, verified against purchase orders, and entered into inventory systems in a timely manner.
Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures for receiving, material handling, storage, and inventory control.
Partner with Inventory Control, Purchasing, Production, and Shipping to ensure material availability and inventory accuracy.
Monitor inventory levels and material flow to support production schedules and operational requirements.
