Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to oversee the receiving department, ensure the accurate receipt of merchandise and proper paperwork, and supervise the Receiving Clerk. You will lead safety, compliance and process improvements in a fast-paced club environment.

This role requires forklift operation, supervisory experience, and familiarity with big box receiving. Experience with RF guns and inventory control is preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior experience working in a big box receiving environment preferred.
• Computer skills preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the operations of the receiving department, including matching received inventory against purchase orders and reviewing discrepancies in received inventory.
• Processes inbound and outbound shipments. Ensures all product pricing and signage is displayed.
• Ensures radio frequency (RF) guns are used when receiving merchandise.
• Makes sure all receiving paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Supervises Receivers and/or Receiving Clerk. Mentors team members in the receiving/inventory control department.
