Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to oversee the club’s receiving department. You will supervise Receivers, ensure the accurate receipt and disposition of merchandise, and maintain compliance with policies and procedures.

This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and a focus on safe, efficient receiving operations to support the club’s performance and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a big box receiving environment preferred.
• Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the operations of the receiving department, including matching received inventory against purchase orders and reviewing discrepancies.
• Monitors inbound and outbound shipments; ensures all product pricing and signage is displayed.
• Oversees and coordinates the receiving process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Verifies seal integrity of trucks and ensures proper paperwork and approvals for shipments.
• Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
