Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to oversee the club's receiving department, ensuring accurate receipt and disposition of merchandise and inventory. You will manage paperwork, verify purchases, and enforce policies to protect inventory and maintain accuracy across the club.

Lead a team through training, ensure a safe work environment, and coordinate with Logistics to optimize delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a big box receiving environment preferred.
• Computer skills preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the operations of the receiving department.
• Processes inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ensures all product pricing and signage is displayed.
• Ensures radio frequency (RF) guns are used when receiving merchandise.
• Makes sure all receiving paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Oversees and coordinates the delivery schedules.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
