Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to manage the club's receiving department. The role ensures receipt and disposition of merchandise, verifies against purchase orders, and handles paperwork and discrepancies.

It requires leadership to drive accurate, on-time performance and maintain a safe, productive work environment. The position includes supervising receivers, coordinating inbound/outbound shipments, using RF scanning tools, and training staff to meet club standards.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in big-box receiving environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the operations of the receiving department, including matching received inventory against purchase orders and reviewing discrepancies.
• Processes inbound and outbound shipments; ensures pricing and signage are displayed.
• Supervises Receivers and/or Receiving Clerk; mentors team members in receiving/inventory control.
• Communicates with Logistics and coordinates delivery schedules.
• Ensures safety equipment is in proper working condition and receiving doors are secured.
