Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Supervisor for the Receiving Department to oversee merchandise receipt, verification, and inventory control. You will lead the receiving team, ensure accurate paperwork, and uphold policy compliance while driving on-time performance and cost controls.

Responsibilities include coordinating inbound/outbound shipments, maintaining safety standards, training teammates, and promoting a culture of accuracy and accountability across the club's receiving area in Port

Qualifications

Forklift operator required.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Prior experience working in a big box receiving environment preferred.
Computer skills preferred.
At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Oversee the operations of the receiving department and supervise Receivers and Receiving Clerk.
Ensure receipt and disposition of merchandise, verify paperwork, and correct discrepancies.
Maintain policies, safety, and compliance within the department and communicate with management.
Lead training, coaching, and team development to meet Gold Club standards.
Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, set up paperwork, and verify seals and deliveries.
