Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to oversee the club’s receiving operations, ensure accurate intake and disposition of merchandise, and lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment in Baltimore, MD. The role requires forklift operation, supervisory experience, and strong computer skills.

Responsibilities include coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, verifying purchase orders, and maintaining safety and standards within the receiving area.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is preferred for leadership.
• Experience in large-format retail receiving environments is desirable.
• Computer skills and basic data entry are beneficial.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the receiving department and oversee staff.
• Ensure accurate receipt and disposition of merchandise and paperwork.
• Verify receipts against purchase orders and inspect for damaged goods.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and manage signing and documentation.
• Maintain safe, organized receiving area and enforce club policies.
