Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate in Ashland, KY to efficiently load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise, and ensure stock is well distributed and easy to reach. You will follow SOPs for receiving, merchandise apparel, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying flexible and proactive.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems to assist with activities.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload shipments and prepare merchandise for storage or sales area.
• Follow SOPs for receiving and apparel merchandising.
• Use scan guns and software to document receipts and verify items.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and report shortages or discrepancies daily.
• Support inventory management and store-to-store transfers as needed.
