Job summary

You will enter receipts into the inventory system, label material for traceability, operate a forklift, and coordinate with Purchasing, Quality, and Production to keep production moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to enter and look up information in the computer system.
• Ability to read, count, and write English to accurately complete all receiving documentation.
• Ability to read and compare purchase orders, packing lists, part numbers, and labels.
• Must be able to operate a forklift/truck for loading and unloading deliveries.
• Must be able to become certified and maintain forklift certification.
• Must be US person in accordance with ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and verify against purchase orders, packing lists, and bills of lading for correct part numbers, quantities, and revision levels.
• Count, weigh, measure, and identify incoming parts and materials to verify accuracy before acceptance.
• Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and document on carrier paperwork before signing.
• Enter receipts into the computer system and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Label and tag received material with correct part numbers, lot/heat numbers, and status for traceability.
• Operate forklift to move materials to inspection, stock locations, or production departments.
