Job summary

Almac Group is seeking a Receiving Operative in Durham, NC to handle material receipt and inventory control within a computerized warehouse environment serving a manufacturing and distribution operation.

You will unload trucks, move and verify materials, label and enter data into the MRP system, and ensure accurate storage and upkeep of stock across ambient, refrigerated, and frozen areas. Prior warehouse experience and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year warehouse experience.
• Basic Warehouse Operations; receiving, shipping, material handling, inventory control, housekeeping, and safety.
• Good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, segregate and re-stack incoming material; labels, drug, job related materials, and non-job related materials within ambient, refrigerated, and frozen areas.
• Move and check material received into the warehouse. Record into the MRP system and apply MID labels.
• Ensure warehouse housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards.
• Select material in preparation for dispatch to the customer.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Provide updates on work allocation and project status to supervisors as appropriate.
• Ensure all material is labeled, stored correctly, and recorded in the system.
