Job summary

Whole Foods Market, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Associate to perform receiving, accounting, and distribution tasks for incoming product deliveries. You will verify orders, ensure product integrity, and process invoices while upholding food safety standards and store procedures.

The role requires 12+ months of retail or distribution experience, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• 12+ months in a distribution or receiving environment preferred.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify actual product against Purchase Orders and supplier paperwork.
• Confirm product integrity and check temperatures as needed.
• Process and file invoices; distribute copies to teams.
• Close purchase orders in the store purchasing application.
• Adhere to Receiving standards per Store Process; support accounting during inventory close.
• Communicate with vendors regarding accounts payable.
