Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Receiving Associate to manage delivery processing, maintain backstock and cooler areas, and ensure accurate stocking and transfers. You will work closely with Team Leaders and Store Leadership to maintain standards and safety.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and operate carts up to 100 pounds. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Stand and walk for extended periods; up to 4 hours without a break.
• Know and practice proper lifting techniques.
• Lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds.
• Push/pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds, unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Process all product deliveries and verify against invoices.
• Maintain backstock area, cooler, and receiving space.
• Ensure proper storage, stocking, and transfer of merchandise.
• Document transfers, waste, and spoilage; use forms.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Record time and wear appropriate PPE.
• Communicate with team and participate in meetings.
