Job summary

Icon Vehicle Dynamics is seeking a Receiving Clerk to accurately accept, inspect, and record incoming shipments, matching against purchase orders and packing slips. You will prepare items for storage and support smooth warehouse operations.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior experience in receiving or warehouse environments is preferred, with familiarity with WMS software considered a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in receiving/shipping or warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks/forklifts.
• Basic computer skills; knowledge of inventory/WMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries from carriers and verify shipments against packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Inspect goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues to the appropriate department.
• Unload trucks and shipments using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed.
• Count, weigh, and measure items to confirm order accuracy; enter received inventory into the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Label, sort, and organize products for storage in designated areas.
• Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse staff to resolve order discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe receiving dock and storage areas.
• Process and document returns, damaged goods, or backorders.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and digital records for all incoming shipments.
