Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in receiving, shipping, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Basic computer skills; experience with inventory or WMS software a plus.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and/or forklifts (certification a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs, more with equipment).

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries and verify shipments against packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Inspect goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues.
• Unload trucks using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed.
• Count, weigh, and measure items to confirm order accuracy.
• Enter received inventory into the WMS or inventory database.
• Label, sort, and organize products for storage in designated areas.
• Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse staff to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe receiving dock and storage areas.
• Process and document returns, damaged goods, or backorders.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and digital records for all incoming shipments.
