Job summary

Standex International Corporation in Sugar Land, TX, is seeking a warehouse Receiving Associate to ensure accurate intake of goods.

You will receive deliveries, unload trucks, verify packing lists against orders, inspect materials, log results, and assist QA as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1–2 years warehousing experience, forklift experience, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs; strong teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Receive products from vendor deliveries.
• Unload shipments from trucks/containers.
• Compare packing lists to purchase orders for matches.
• Inspect incoming materials for quantity, part number, condition.
• Complete inspections of finished goods per QMS/specs.
• Document results in reports/logs and QA databases.
• Maintain receiving records and report discrepancies.
• Release items to appropriate departments.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work area.

Job description

What You’ll Do

• Receive products from vendor deliveries.
• Unload shipments from delivery truck/container.
• Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
• Accurately inspect incoming materials and supplies (qty, PNs, verify that product /material is in good condition).
• Complete inspections of finished goods in accordance with QMS and all relevant specifications / DWGs.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; entering data into quality database.
• Assist the Quality Engineer with the reworking of parts as per specs when required.
• Maintain receiving records in accordance with Amran procedures.
• Maintain Incoming Inspections Records in accordance with Amran procedures.
• Report any receiving discrepancies to Purchasing and/or to the immediate supervisor.
• Release the receiving items to the appropriate departments.
• Initiate and maintain positive interaction between quality, production, office personnel, and the warehouse.

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

• Follow all Amran procedures, practices, rules and safety requirements.
• Follow Amran guidelines and policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by staff and supervision.
