Job summary

Standex International, a global industrial growth company with electronics, forming technologies and refrigeration brands, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Sugar Land, TX. You will receive and unload deliveries, verify contents against packing lists, inspect materials per QMS, and document results.

You’ll support quality and production teams while maintaining a safe workplace. The role emphasizes accurate receiving, data entry, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of warehousing experience.
• Experience operating forklifts is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and move around the facility.

Responsibilities

• Receive products from vendor deliveries.
• Unload shipments from delivery truck/container.
• Compare packing lists to purchase orders and verify accuracy.
• Inspect incoming materials for quantity and condition.
• Inspect finished goods per QMS and specs.
• Document inspection results and enter data into systems.
• Assist Quality Engineer with rework as needed.
• Maintain records for incoming inspections and releases.
• Report discrepancies to Purchasing or supervisor.
• Support interdepartmental communication and safety procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Receive products from vendor deliveries.
• Unload shipments from delivery truck/container.
• Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
• Accurately inspect incoming materials and supplies (qty, PNs, verify that product /material is in good condition).
• Complete inspections of finished goods in accordance with QMS and all relevant specifications / DWGs.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; entering data into quality database.
• Assist the Quality Engineer with the reworking of parts as per specs when required.
• Maintain receiving records in accordance with Amran procedures.
• Maintain Incoming Inspections Records in accordance with Amran procedures.
• Report any receiving discrepancies to Purchasing and/or to the immediate supervisor.
• Release the receiving items to the appropriate departments.
• Initiate and maintain positive interaction between quality, production, office personnel, and the warehouse.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Follow all Amran procedures, practices, rules and safety requirements.
• Follow Amran guidelines and policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by staff and supervision.

What You’ll Bring

• High school education or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years’ experience in warehousing

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
