Job summary

Citizens Energy Group is seeking a Receivables Management Specialist I to enhance collections on outstanding receivables and reduce bad debt. The role handles customer payment transfers, deposits, and balance transfers within the same business unit, in compliance with Indiana rules and Citizens’ terms.

The position includes analyzing credit documentation, researching refunds, posting EFT payments, and generating adverse action letters under FCRA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in standard business software and PC use.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process credit and collections transactions via Customer Information System and Contact Center requests.
• Improve receivables and reduce bad debt by resolving misapplied or unposted payments.
• Complete and analyze recurring reports to support cash flow and bad debt reduction.
• Participate in ongoing employee training and development activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
