Equity Staffing Group is seeking a Rebate Disbursement Analyst for a hybrid opportunity supporting a large healthcare and pharmacy benefits organization. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial operations, payment processing, rebate operations, or other complex analytical environments.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CST

Work Environment: Hybrid

The Rebate Disbursement Analyst will support the accurate and timely disbursement of approximately $18 billion in annual client rebate payments. This position will own the end-to-end rebate disbursement process for an assigned portfolio of clients and serve as a subject matter expert regarding client contracts, rebate terms, and payment requirements.

The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with multiple business areas to resolve payment issues, analyze variances, identify root causes, and improve established processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end rebate disbursement process for an assigned portfolio of clients.
• Execute accurate and timely rebate payments using established disbursement systems and processes.
• Interpret complex client contracts, rebate terms, and system setup logic to ensure payments align with contractual requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned clients and their rebate arrangements.
• Meet established accuracy, quality, and timeliness metrics.
• Research and respond to internal and external inquiries related to rebate payments and disbursements.
• Independently investigate discrepancies and determine appropriate resolutions.
• Perform variance analysis and root-cause analysis to identify payment or process issues.
• Partner cross-functionally with teams including Quality Control, Continuous Improvement, Rebate Analytics, Billing, FP&A, Legal, Underwriting, and Client Management.
• Identify inefficiencies within established processes and recommend opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with implementing process improvements that increase accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Support ad hoc projects and business initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Experience working within complex financial operations, rebate operations, payment processing, accounting, or a similar analytical environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to independently research issues and work toward resolution.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare, pharmacy benefits, rebates, or financial disbursement operations.
• Experience interpreting contracts or complex payment terms.
• Experience performing variance and root-cause analysis.
• SQL experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
