Job summary

White Cap in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a hands-on production associate to manufacture customized rebar products in line with work orders and customer specs. The role involves safe operation of rebar fabrication equipment, material handling, and preparing finished products for shipment in an industrial setting.

You will work indoors and outdoors, may face varying weather, lift up to 50 pounds, and follow safety procedures. A HS Diploma or GED and 0–2 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing or related production.
• Experience reading work orders and rebar tags.
• Experience operating fabrication machinery; forklift/overhead crane certification where applicable.
• Use of PPE is required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates reinforcing steel (rebar) products according to work orders and tag specifications.
• Sets up and safely operates rebar fabrication equipment.
• Stacks, bands, and organizes materials according to production flow.
• Inspects finished materials for conformance to specifications.
• Prepares products for shipment with protective materials.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and follows safety policies.
