Job summary

White Cap is looking for a hands-on Rebar Fabrication worker to manufacture customized rebar products following work orders and customer specs. You will operate rebar equipment, handle materials, and prepare finished products for shipment in an industrial setting.

Applicants typically have a HS diploma or GED and 0–2 years of experience. The role includes outdoor work, exposure to weather, and emphasis on safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Prior experience in rebar fabrication, steel manufacturing, or high-volume industrial production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate reinforcing steel (rebar) products according to work orders and tag specs.
• Set up and safely operate rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, automated machines).
• Stack, band, and stage materials per production flow and supervisor direction.
• Inspect finished materials visually and with measurements to ensure specs.
• Identify defects and adjust according to established processes.
• Prepare completed products for shipment with appropriate protective materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and follow PPE and safety policies.
• Work indoors and outdoors as required, with exposure to weather conditions.
