Job summary

Oldcastle is seeking a rebar production worker to safely and efficiently produce precast concrete products. You will read blueprints, cut and weld steel rebar, and prepare cages for concrete filling in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining the workspace, loading materials, and collaborating with team members. A high school diploma and basic math skills are preferred, with some construction experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Related industry or construction experience preferred.
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication, division).
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints and use basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Cut, bend, place, tie, and weld steel rebar.
• Prepare steel cages for filling with concrete.
• Facility maintenance and housekeeping.
• Product yard and truck loading.
