Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a hands-on team member to build rebar cages in an indoor/outdoor manufacturing setting. You will read drawings, handle prefabricated steel, and assist with crane operations to store reinforcing material.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience, with good communication and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. No travel is required and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically.

Responsibilities

• Build rebar cages according to drawings provided - tools supplied by the company.
• Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions.
• Unload and stack prefabricated steel so that it can be lifted with slings.
• Assist or perform crane operations for storing reinforcing steel.
• Experience using rebar fabrication machinery a plus, but not required.
• Warehouse environment, all work is performed indoors (No travel required).
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
