Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Production Worker to join the rebar shop. The role involves building rebar cages, reading blueprints, and working in a largely indoor manufacturing environment with no travel required.

You will operate in a team setting, follow drawings, and ensure cages are built safely and accurately. A high school diploma and basic blueprint reading skills are required, with 1 year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Build rebar cages according to drawings provided - tools supplied by the company.
• Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions.
• Unload and stack prefabricated steel so that it can be lifted with slings.
• Assist or perform crane operations for storing reinforcing steel.
• Experience using rebar fabrication machinery a plus, but not required.
• Warehouse environment, all work is performed indoors (No travel required).
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
