Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a rebar production worker to safely and efficiently produce precast concrete products to high quality standards. Responsibilities include reading drawings, cutting, bending, tying and welding rebar, preparing steel cages for concrete, and maintaining a clean facility plus yard and truck loading.

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and communicate well with the team. This is a non-exempt, non-managerial position with growth opportunities within CRH's fabrication

Qualifications

• High school diploma/ equivalent preferred.
• Related industry or construction experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication & division).
• Knowledge and skills to use basic tools, including a tape measure.
• MIG welding experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Cut, bend, place, tie, and weld steel rebar.
• Prepare steel cages for filling with concrete.
• Facility maintenance and housekeeping.
• Product yard and truck loading.
