Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a rebar production worker to safely and efficiently produce precast concrete products of the highest quality standards.

The role requires reading drawings, cutting/bending/welding rebar, preparing steel cages, and assisting with yard operations. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with construction experience and basic math skills advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Related industry or construction experience preferred.
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication & division).
• Knowledge and skills to use basic tools, including a tape measure.
• MIG welding experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Cut, bend, place, tie, and weld steel rebar.
• Prepare steel cages for filling with concrete.
• Facility maintenance and housekeeping.
• Product yard and truck loading.
