Commercial Metals Company in Florida seeks a Rebar Detailer to convert design data into placing drawings using MicroStation and rebar software. You will determine bar sizes, lengths, and quantities from drawings and project details, read design documents, and prepare detailed bar lists for fabrication.

Formación

• Read and interpret contract documents.
• Perform basic mathematics, algebra, and geometry.
• Use MS Word, MS Excel, Autodesk or Bentley CAD platforms.
• Basic knowledge of rebar types, shapes, size, and applications preferred.
• Understand and apply linear measurements (feet, inches, decimals, metric).

Responsabilidades

• Convert design data into placing drawings using MicroStation and rebar software.
• Determine quantity, size, length, and bending shapes from drawings and project details.
• Interpret data on design documents to establish rebar requirements.
• Prepare detailed placing drawings for ironworkers to install reinforcing bars.
• Prepare detailed bar lists for fabrication of reinforcement bars.
• Communicate with contractor/architect/engineer to obtain missing information.
• Provide placement drawings to architect/engineer for approval.
• Team collaboration to promote productivity; participate in planning meetings.
