Commercial Metals Company seeks a detail-oriented CAD/Rebar drafter to convert design data into precise placing drawings using MicroStation and rebar software. You will determine bar quantities and shapes from project data, prepare detailed site drawings for ironworkers, and produce fabrication lists for reinforcement bars.

Responsibilities include coordinating with engineers and architects to resolve missing information, ensuring accuracy of placement drawings for approvals, and maintaining

Qualifications

• Read and interpret contract drawings and design data.
• Perform basic math, algebra and geometry for rebar layouts.
• Familiar with CAD platforms and drawing software.
• Understand structural concrete members and building systems.
• Read, write and communicate in English.

Responsabilités

• Convert design data into placing drawings using MicroStation and rebar software.
• Determine quantity, size, length and bending shapes of bars from drawings.
• Prepare detailed placing drawings for ironworkers on site.
• Create bar lists for fabrication of reinforcement bars.
• Communicate with contractor, architect or engineer to obtain missing info.
• Provide accurate placement drawings for approval by architect/engineer.
• Work in a team to promote productivity and participate in planning meetings.
• Ensure work area is clean, secure, and compliant with policies.
