GFL Industries is seeking a Residential Driver to safely collect waste and recyclables on curbside and backdoor routes in Galveston, TX. You will operate a side-load or rear-load truck and ensure on-time service while maintaining vehicle, route, and customer standards.

The role requires a CDL, at least one year of driving experience, and the ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment.

Responsabilités

• Operate a residential/recycling collection truck to collect solid waste and/or recyclables on the assigned route.
• Load solid waste, yard waste and/or recyclables into the vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and complete required reports.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues.
• Identify prohibited items and remove them from the cart or bin.
• Follow all safety policies and drive in a courteous manner.
