Job summary

Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Rear Load Driver (Non-CDL) to service residential and commercial routes, safely collecting waste and recycling on a daily basis. You will operate a variety of trucks, maintain logs, and interact professionally with customers to ensure reliable service.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of driving experience, a valid driver's license, and a DOT medical card. Night and weekend work may be required, with a strong emphasis on safety and community

Qualifications

• Must have valid DOT Medical Card and a driver's license.
• 1-2 years of commercial or delivery truck driving experience preferred.
• Waste industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services safely and in compliance with guidelines.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck 300-600 times per day depending on route.
• Pull or push containers from enclosures or buildings as needed.
• Replace containers neatly at curb or designated area.
• Clean up spills and maintain route and driver logs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logs.
• Interact professionally with customers to deliver excellent service.
• Operate other types of trucks as needed and perform other duties.
